Boys Run Great at State!

A huge congratulations to Nate on a 3rd place finish at the WIAA State Meet at Wisconsin Rapids. Nate ran a dominant, controlled race, coming through mile 1 and 2 in 4th, and then closing hard up the final hills to take 3rd. His time of 15:19 is among the fastest times in the last 5 years (further analysis required for years before 2021)! For his part, Jasper excuted his race plan to perfection, moving from 56th in mile 1, 41st in mile 2, and 28th at the end. His time of 16:18 is not only a personal best, but also lands him on the all-time list in West history. Congrats to the pair for representing Madison West at the State meet, and shout out to the girls team, who finished 5th overall behind a 6th-place showing by Violet Wickizer!
