The team had another solid day at the Big 8 Grade Level Meet at Lake Farm Park. The scoring format for this meet varies from most meets. Each runner is ranked against others in their grade only. Our top 7 places make up our score. This frequently gives some of the younger team members the direct opportunity to contribute to team scoring. Full results are linked on our result page. The boys finished 2’ND just 1 point behind LaFollette. Scoring for the team were: Hunter Shadman (#2 Freshman), Jonah Simonson (#3 Junior), Walt Strange (#4 Freshman), Owne Cooney (#6 Freshman), Peter Negrut (#6 Junior), Henry Johnson (#6 Senior), and Danny Hegeman (#7 Freshman). Well done all!!

Congrats to everyone on some great racing at the River Valley Invite. The Varsity won w/37 points, lead by Zach Temple (2), Truman White (6), Eli Pettit (7),
Liam Culp (9), Jonah Simonson (13), Harrsion Glazer (19). The JV scored 18 points with 15 of the first 17 finishers. Alex Ivey lead the JV with a race win. Other JV scores were Henry Johnson (2), Sam Stanton (4), Luke O’Neil (5), Hank Hegeman (6).
Many team members ran season or lifetime bests. Well done!! Full results on result page.

Our first meet of the season was a rousing success. The boys won the overall title with 38 points. We had 7 boys in the first 18 places in a race with 243 athletes. Well done all!! Our top 7: Zach Temple (1), Truman White (5), Liam Culp (6), Eli Pettit (11), Harrison Glazer (15), Peter Negrut (17), Alex Ivey (18). Full results on the results page of the website.

Practice starts at 4:00pm on Monday 8/29. We will remain in the afternoon for the remainder of the season.

We will be practicing at Lunney Lake Farm Park on Wed. 8/24 at 8:00am. We will hand out uniforms after practice. We should be finishing up between 10:15 and 10:30am.

Madison.com published a great article on some of the boys in the area to watch this Cross Country season. Our team got some nice individual mentions and Zach Temple had a photo and a short write up. The link is here
