We had some excellent results at today’s Big 8 Grade Level Challenge. This meet has a slightly different format. There are 2 races, a Frosh/Soph race and a Jr./Sr. race. Each grade is ranked ordered against their grade only. The top 7 places for each school, regardless of grade, make up a team’s score. We had most of our older Varsity athletes do their long run today and not race. This allowed the majority of our scoring to come from our Freshman and Sophomore. We finished 2’ND overall lead by August Peters #1 Soph, Owen Cooney #3 Soph, Nathan Schwoerer #4 Frosh, Walt Strange #4 Soph, Summit Todd #5 Frosh, Basil Keck #5 Sr. and Harold Westergaard #6 Frosh. Additionally 3 boys ran their first races of the year – Dragos Chiruta (12), Gaon Oh (11), and Kieran Komarek (9). Congrats to all!
